WHAT IS ENGLISH AFLOAT?
English Afloat excursions have been designed by language professionals. The excursions combine English Language lessons with a Sydney Harbour ferry experience on board your own private ferry. Commentary by a Lessons Afloat excursion leader is geared to all language levels and is clearly amplified on a public address system throughout the ferry.
Groups have their own private ferry and can select a 2 hour or 4 hour excursion.
Excursion times are as follows:
2 hours – 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 noon or 12:15 p.m. – 2:15 p.m.
4 hours – 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. (Monday to Friday)
WHERE DO WE GO?
Pick and drop off at CIRCULAR QUAY. (Other pick up and drop off points can be organised with advance notice) The excursion includes an educational and scenic tour of SYDNEY HARBOUR which includes the main historical and modern landmarks. Optional stop at Watson’s Bay for ‘Aussie Fish ‘n Chips’ for lunch. Alternately bring a picnic lunch to enjoy at one of the foreshore parks.
WHAT DO YOU RECEIVE?

Worksheets have been designed by fully trained and experienced TESOL teachers and are geared to the four macro skills (listening, speaking, reading and writing). Maps will be given to the students by the Lessons Afloat excursion leader on the day.
NOTE: MINIMUM COSTS APPLIY, THEREFORE TO KEEP COSTS DOWN AND PROMOTE AN INTERESTING, INTERACTIVE EXCURSION WHY NOT BRING YOUR WHOLE COLLEGE OR ORGANISE TO COMBINE WITH ANOTHER COLLEGE.
